Topo Leistelä

Topo Leistelä (Arthur Torsten Leistén, 1935 Leistelä) (b. 12 of July, 1893, Alavus, Finland d. 20 of November 1955, Helsinki) was a Finnish actor and theater director. He went to a Swedish theater school years 1913-15 and after that he worked as a theater director in Viipuri, Savo and Lahti. Leistelä worked in Suomi-Filmi film company as assistant production manager years 1933-39 and after that as the head of propaganda film section in Suomen Filmiteollisuus years 1940-48. He founded a film company, Kansan Elokuva OY, in 1949 and worked as the head of the company until his death.
