The documentary tells us about campaign of environmental protest in Russia . The event took place at Azov city in summer 2003. Azov citizens supported by radical greens from the Rainbow Keepers and the Autonomous Action defends theirs rights for clean environment and fight against construction of methanol reloading terminal in the city boundaries. This film is chronicle of the struggle which continued for almost two months. Radical protest actions (road blockings, demonstrations, pickets), mobilization of people, life of the protest camp and relations of greens and local people are in the focus of the videocamera. Film viewers become co-assistants of the dramatic events. The heroes of the film are captivated by the specific atmosphere of “carnival” of protest. They shout “No Pasaran!” to the builders of the terminal. “No pasaran!” is the hymn-song of the radical green activists too. They used to sing it on barricades… But if environmentally dangerous object could not be banned… may be mobilization and upsurge of self-consciousness is already small VICTORY?
