Relatos desde el encierro / Tales from the Inside

The women imprisoned in The Federal Jail of Puente Grande, Jalisco, in Mexico, offer testimony of their lives and crimes, and tell us about the emotional experience derived from their confinement. Speaking from their own intimacy, they reflect upon human condition, survival and the concept of freedom. Through the testimonies this film also exposes the peculiar idiosyncrasies of the Mexican justice system.
