The film depicts women who opted to marry other women to circumvent violence.
How they arrived at their decision is as varied as the individual stories
of the women.
Sarah and Yasinta took part in a workshop in Tanzania, during which they wrote and directed their film's "Nyumba Ntobhu" interviews. The workshop was a part of a project funded by the swedish development cooperation organisation SIDA. SIDA is governed by the IOGT-NTO movement of Sweden.
