Iltatähti / Blue Boy

Unspoken past. Dad who tried to be both the father and the mother. How to build a family portrait if both the pictures and the narrators are scarce? Blue Boy is delicate and at times tragicomic self image of a filmmaker who wishes to get to know his mother who died young. This way he also hopes to find out more about himself. Alongside, we see a story of the director’s life with his own partner, and how his father deals with that.
